Edith Bradley Bain

Edith Bradley Bain, age 81, of Caroleen, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Fair Haven Home in Forest City.

Edith was born May 23, 1938 in Rutherford County to the late Ralph Bradley and Gertrude Frady Bradley. She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School, class of 1955 and a member of Florence Baptist Church. She worked as a supply room supervisor for Cone Mills-Florence for thirty years before retirement. Edith was known for her cooking skills which included her famous cakes, homemade pickles and apple butter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph Bradley, Jr., Arthur Bradley, Alan Bradley, Paul Bradley and two sisters, Ann Cannon and Inez Dale.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Kim Murray (Olon) of Ellenboro; two grandchildren, C.J. Murray (Macy) of Boiling Springs, NC and Brad Murray (Breianna) of Bostic; three great-grandchildren, Georgia, Clark and Carter Murray. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Marlene Bradley of Inman, SC and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Florence Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time in the narthex of the church.
