SHELBY- Edley "Jack" Roberts, Sr., 81, DIED Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Edley and Molly Leigh Roberts. He retired from the maintenance department of Cleveland Regional Medical Center. After retirement, he enjoyed farming and gardening.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Homer, Claton and Frank Roberts; sisters, Elizabeth Blanton, Mamie Smith, and Mildred Blanton.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his sons, Edley Roberts, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Shelby and Johnny Roberts and wife Angela of Polkville, sisters, Gertrude Patrick and Ruth Childrez , both of Shelby; brother, Richard Roberts and wife Sue of Grover; grandchildren, Cyrus Roberts, Thomas Roberts and wife Elayna, Caroline Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Mandi Colson and husband Hoy, and Carrie Dobbins and husband Zach; great grandchildren, Josephine and Charles Roberts, and Lillie, Elizabeth and Tripp Colson.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:30 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

SERVICES: Will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

CLERGY: Rev. Richard Stoup, officiating

INTERMENT: will follow the service at Cleveland Memorial Park
