Elizabeth "Lib" Ogle Parker, 89, died Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.

Born in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Emma Lucille Jones Ogle. Lib retired from PPG and was a member of Dover Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed fishing and camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband PG Parker; five brothers; three sisters; and her son-in-law, Charles Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Smith and Wanda Lowery, both of Shelby; sons, Phil Parker and girlfriend Kathy of Shelby and Ed Park and wife Karen of Wilmington; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. B. Ervin Price officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church.
