Our Festivities will begin on Thursday August 23 at 5pm with performances by: Potter’s Clay Project, The Paris Thieves, The Rugz, and rocking shows by Josh Phillips Folk Festival and Evergreen to cap the night!
Our Inaugural Festival will indeed be highlighted by a headlining performance from Average Joes Recording Artist Corey Smith on Friday night August 24! Corey Smith was named one of country music’s hottest new artists by Country Weekly and Music Row Magazine and was featured on the cover of Pollstar as a Hotstar Top Artist. He has hundreds of sold-out performances under his belt and a growing, dedicated fan-base whose passion for Corey’s music has led to some of the music industry’s leading professionals shaking their heads in astonishment at his rise as a touring sensation. Corey has the ability to relate to crowds like few other modern-day live acts - in one moment singing frankly of wild days spent partying, followed by showcasing his wisdom with songs that touch on much deeper issues of life. Also performing Friday will be: Dirty Grass Soul, L Shape Lot, The Sloantones, The Lowdown, The Traffic Jam Band, and Afterdark.
Saturday will feature headlining performances by one of the most critically acclaimed singer songwriters of our generation, Chris Knight; and Cleveland County’s original supergroup, Acoustic Syndicate.
Known for its high-energy, positive sound, Acoustic Syndicate delivers a genre-defying performance, masterfully blending its eclectic influences with trademark finesse that only 17 years of cohesive teamwork can bring.
Chris Knight is often regarded as a one of the premier song writers alive, and after ten years and five acclaimed albums Chris Knight can boast one of the most uncompromising careers in American music. His work has been compared to Prine, Cash and Nebraska-era Springsteen by some the toughest music writers in America.
Saturday will also feature a stacked lineup of performances by: The Corbitt Brothers, The Upton Brothers, Caroline Allen, The Tater Family Traveling Circus, and the Leadville Social Club!
