Elva Strickland Jennings, age 94 of Kings Mountain, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 14, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Edgar Ernest Blackburn (Gen), Kathy Butler (Mike), Danny Clyde Blackburn (Judith), and Elva Ann McGlynn (Edward), nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

Born June 4, 1928 in Gaston County, NC, Elva was the daughter of the late James Clyde Strickland and Kate Mullinax Strickland and was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Jennings and a brother, James Strickland.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, November 18, 2022 at Cleveland Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Don Williams.
