Ms. Emma Lee Parks, 70, of Shelby, NC, passed away on April 7, 2026 at VIA Health, Wendover Hospice. She was born on December 7, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC. She was the daughter of the late E. P. Parks and Virginia Eskridge Parks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Ernest Parks, Shirley Price, and Frances Pompey.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her children, Tabatha Byers (Tony) and Cameron Parks (Mindy), both of Shelby, NC; sisters, Denise Hillman (Donald) of Kingstown, NC, Vanessa Mauney of Shelby, and Jennie Danner (Terry) of Hickory, NC; grandchildren, Kahdera Parks, Antwan Parks, Jordan Parks, and Bryan Garden; great grandchildren, Arianna Parks, Keydrick Parks, and Princess Parks; uncle, J. V. Parks; special friend, Lisa Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at S. T. Enloe Memorial, Shelby, NC
