Blacksburg - Emmie Lou Anderson Mattox, 81, of 186 Bedford Road, passed away on April 11, 2026, at her residence.

Born in Greenwood, SC, she was the widow of William Carol Mattox and the daughter of the late John Thomas and Julia McFall Anderson. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Winnsboro, SC.

Surviving Mrs. Mattox are her children, Carol Krajack (Eddie), William Carol "BJ" Mattox Jr. (Mary Elizabeth), and Julie Marie Tate (William); and her grandchildren, Kayden Hudson, Jordan Ramsey, and Anderson Beau Mattox.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 19th, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 6924 Wateree Road, Great Falls, SC.
