Erika Julia Molenda McKinney, 77, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 while at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland.

She was born to the late Joseph Molenda and Hildegard Molenda in Germany. She is also predeceased by her son, Russell Sexton; brother, Ernest Oberhaus.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Robert E. McKinney of the home; sons, Jeff Stiltner and wife, Mandy, Marty Stiltner and wife, Becky; daughters, Lisa McKinney, Amanda McKinney and husband, Andrew Easler; grandchildren, Jessica Sexton, Bradley Sexton, Macey Sexton, Allanna Voss, Caleb Champion, Bethany Easler, Julia Easler, Trinity Collier, Emily Stiltner and Emma Stiltner; 8 great-grandchildren.

Erika worked as a Hairdresser for most of her life. She loved to be surrounded by family. She loved to cook and entertain, loved to sew, loved her flowers and working in her garden, and loved the beach and the sunshine. She was always the center of attention. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Camp Creek Baptist Church, 2323 Camp Creek Church Road, Mooresboro, North Carolina 28114 with Pastor Steve Durham officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
