Erma Jean Adams Parker, 84, of E. Zion Church Road, Shelby, passed away
Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her home.

Born in Cleveland County on December 21, 1933, she was a daughter of the
late Jesse Cornelius Adams and Ola Mae Shockley Adams. She was retired from
Hoechst Celanese in quality control and was a member of Hoyle Memorial
United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E.W.
Parker; son, David Neal Parker; and a brother Cleve Adams.

She is survived by her sister, Annette Martin of Shelby.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tim Martin and Teresa
Blanton officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
