Ernest Ornulf Larsen, 96, of Lawndale, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Hospice at Wendover.
Born in Oslo, Norway on April 23, 1925, he was the son of the late Karl Emil Larsen and Martha Lovise Sletner Larsen. He was retired as owner and operator of Larsen's Greenhouse and was a graduate of the Agriculture University of Norway and life time horticulturalist. Mr. Larsen was a volunteer for Hospice for many years and and was a member of Double Shoals Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Daves Larsen; second wife, Anna Larsen; a grandson, Brent Larsen; two brothers, Knut Larsen, Per Larsen and two sisters, Gunvor Horgen and Ranveig Aarseth.
Survivors include two sons, Keith Larsen and wife, Debbie of Salisbury and Kevin Larsen and wife, Lisa of Lawndale; a sister, Aslaug Haga of Kolbotn, Norway; four grandchildren, Adam Larsen, Lindsay Bralley, Brandon Larsen and Amber Carpenter and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Dr. Brian Johnson officiating.
The family will greet friends following the graveside service.
