Ethan Cole Ramsey, 27, of W. Double Shoals Road, Lawndale, passed away
Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

He was born in Cleveland County on January 14, 1991. Ethan was a member of
Lawndale Baptist Church and had proudly served in the US Army, 3rd US
Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard, as a specialist. He also was a member of
Lawndale Volunteer Fire Department, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking,
hiking, archery, playing his guitar and gun collecting.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Carolyn Sigmon, Gene Morrison,
James & Bertha Eaker, and Junior Parker.

He is survived by his mother, Melissa "Missy" Parker and, husband Joey, of
Lawndale; father, Larry "Gary" Ramsey of Lawndale; three sisters, Sarah
Ramsey and Taylor Ramsey of Shelby, and Maggie Parker of Lawndale; two great
grandmothers, Catherine Denton of Shelby and Mae Beashers of Morganton;
grandparents, Mary and Jess Murray of Lawndale, Marlene Parker of Casar,
Larry and Daisey Ramsey of Shelby; and numerous loving aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Lawndale Baptist
Church with the Rev. Jim Kilby and Rev. Eric Davis officiating.
