SHELBY - Eunice Grant Sheriff, age 81, of Shelby, NC went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2018 at Wendover Hospice.
Born October 21, 1936 in Oconee County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ace and Louise Grant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Orr Sheriff; three brothers, Ervin Grant, Allen Grant, Martin Grant; and one sister, Lillian George.
Eunice loved the Lord with all heart and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a member the Gideons International Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Neal Sheriff and wife Krista of Kings Mountain, Mark Sheriff and wife Robin of Shelby. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Amber Sheriff, Cameron Sheriff, Kelsey Sheriff; and loving caregiver, Pam Hoyle.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Timothy M. Sims officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 prior to the service at the church.
