Eva Maisie Canipe Wallace, 74, of Vale, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cherryville.

Born in Cleveland County on October 22, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Sam Canipe, Jr. and Dorothy Parker Canipe. She was retired from Kountry Kubbard and was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William Harrison Wallace; one son, Scottie Wallace and wife Tammy of Vale; one daughter, Pamela Barker and husband Matthew of Vale; three sisters, Winona Houser of Vale, Gail Stiles of Lincolnton and Donna Norman and husband, Arnold of Vale; one brother, Aubrey Canipe of Vale; five grandchildren, Caylynn Blackwood and husband David, Samantha Bryson and husband Brandon, Cassie Barker, Joseph Hess and Abigail Barker and six great grandchildren and one on the way.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hebron United Methodist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Hebron United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnny Norton officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery.
