Eva Paulette Benjamin, age 68, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at her home in Shelby. Born in Corinth, MS on January 16, 1950 she is the daughter of Eva Johnston Rorie and the late Clarence Russell Benjamin. Paulette was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed weekly calls with her brother and other family members however; she lived for her grandchildren who were the center of her world.

Paulette is survived by her mother, Eva Rorie of Cornith, MS; her son, Russell Voyles and wife Heather of Shelby; her brother, Steve Benjamin and wife Sandra of Memphis, TN her Aunts, Mae August and Sandra Tyson both of Florence, AL and her Uncle Dexter Benjamin and wife Joann of Cornith, MS as well as her pride and joy, grandchildren Lila, Levi, Callen, and Silas.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Smith and Dr. Tim Sims officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3pm until 4pm in the church sanctuary

Memorials may be made to an organization of one's choosing.
