Evelyn Marie Lesley, age 75 went to be with her Savior on February 27, 2018. Born in Greenville, SC on February 7, 1944. Evelyn grew up as a member of Tabernacle Baptist in Greenville, SC, where she gave her life to the Lord at the age of 15. Evelyn was an active member of Morning Star Baptist Church, where the Lord blessed her with being a Pastor's wife for 44 years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Evelyn enjoyed cross stitching and fishing.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dr. Ronald Lesley; a daughter, Susan Wood and husband Scott of Shelby; a son, Brian Lesley and wife Melinda of Polkville; the joy of her life, four grandchildren, Seth Lesley and wife Christina Cook, Casey Elliott and husband Chris, Elizabeth Wood, and Emily Wood; and great grandson, Hank Elliott; a sister, Patricia Cisson of Greenville SC; and a niece, Angela Jennings.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Linzy officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
