Fernando "Sandy" Jaime Isadora Balmori Pardo

Fernando "Sandy" Jaime Isadora Balmori Pardo, known affectionately as Sandy to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Born on February 5, 1943, in Sebu, Philippines, Sandy lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and work.

Sandy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alex and Mary Pardo, and his dear sister, Rosa Pardo. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity, survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Ann Pardo, and their three children: Eric Pardo and his wife Dena, Alex Pardo and his wife Brandi, and Tammy Pardo Sanders. His memory will be cherished by his siblings Caroline Burgess, Anna McKenna, and John Pardo with his wife Lisa. Sandy's ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with many grand pups and kitties, will miss their "Paw Paw," whose presence was a cornerstone of their lives.

Sandy's Christian faith was a guiding light throughout his life, and he was a pillar in his community, known for his loving, generous, and funny nature. He took great joy in being around his family, and his laughter was a common and comforting sound at family gatherings. Sandy's work ethic was unparalleled, and he was respected and admired by his colleagues at Stabilus, where he served as a warehouse supervisor for many years. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his dedication to his family.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 3 pm at the East Gold Street Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain, with the Rev. Scott Whitney officiating. Following the service, the family will greet friends and share memories of Sandy's remarkable life. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit and the memories he created will continue to inspire and comfort his family and friends.

Sandy's life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and the importance of family. His impact on the lives he touched will be felt for generations to come. As we say goodbye to this extraordinary man, we do so with gratitude for the time we had with him and the lessons he taught us through his example. Sandy's legacy will live on in the stories told, the laughter shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
