The 2011 Foothills Farmers Market Season Grand Opening is set for Saturday, April 30 from 8:00am until 3:00pm in conjunction with Uptown Shelby’s Art on the Square Festival and European Car Show.
Look for asparagus, baked goods, bedding & ornamental plants, bok choy, collards, free-trade coffee, goats milk soap, ice cream, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, spinach, strawberries, sweet greens, sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, and vegetable transplants.
Join us as we celebrate another season of fresh, local foods.
Uptown Market: Wednesdays and Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon
April 30 - October 22
The Uptown Shelby Market is located under tents on beautiful tree-lined Washington Street on historic courthouse square.
New this season... several of our vendors will be accepting EBT payments,
including bank-issued debit & credit cards and SNAP (Food Assistance).
