Foothills Farmers’ Market 2012 Season Opener

Dr. Emile L. Gebel of Shagreen Nursery & Arboretum was one of the participants who made this year’s Foothills Farmers’ Market opening date a huge success.
Several of Cleveland County’s premiere artists gathered uptown Shelby on Saturday, April 28th for Arts on the Square 2012. The event also featured the Broad River European Classic Car Show and for car enthusiasts the display was great. Locally grown produce, flowers, plants, and homemade items were offered at the Farmers’ Market. The crowd that came out on this beautiful spring day got to enjoy one our county’s greatest landscapes... the beautiful court square in Shelby.
