SHELBY - Frances Jeanette DeLoatch Collins, age 74, of Shelby, NC went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Born June 6, 1943 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John Robert DeLoatch and Leona Davis DeLoatch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Carr.
Frances loved her family deeply and her grandsons were her pride and joy. She never met a stranger and truly had the gift of gab. She was always smiling and could put a smile on anyone's face. Everyone loved her and she will be missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Autumn Sides and husband David of Lincolnton, Rhonda Cline and husband Robin of Vale; sister, Maxine Hall and husband Gene of Weaverville. She is also survived by two grandsons, Davey Sides and Garrison Sides; and a special niece, Yvonne Russ and husband James.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Jonathan A. Schnibben officiating.
