| Frances Lovelace, age 86, of Henrietta, NC, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at White Oak Manor of Rutherfordton. Frances was born September 5, 1926 in Yancey County, NC to the late Baxter Ledford and Mongolie Wheeler Ledford. She worked for Burlington Industries and Fieldcrest for 38 years before her retirement. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Henrietta. Frances enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, bowling and exercising. She was a loving person who cared for her family greatly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Lovelace and one sister, Velra Twiggs.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Terry Byers and wife, Kathy of Ellenboro; one sister, Annie Hall of Forest City; two grandchildren, Shawna Humphries and husband, Johnny of Forest City and Jason Byers and wife, Audrey of Ft. Drum, NY; four great grandchildren, Britney Norris, Bretton Norris, Abram Byers, Gabrielle Byers and two great-great grandchildren, Kayden Norris and Gavin Wood.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Glen Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
