Frances Miller Grant, age 91, of Henrietta, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Willow Ridge Rehab and Nursing Center in Rutherfordton.
Born November 6, 1926 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late David Earl Miller and Ida Mae Jenkins Miller. Frances worked in textiles most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a past member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Her life's enjoyment was listening to blue grass music and clogging.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Earl Grant; daughter, Carolyn Grant Butler; three brothers, Rex, Bud and Dee Miller and one sister, Rozelle Burnham.
Those left to cherish her memory include one sister, Lynda Carver of Forest City; grandson, Jason Daniel Butler and wife, Shannon of Forest City; son-in-law, Daniel Butler of Forest City and a special family friend, Gloria Bryant of Mooresboro.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
