Frances Smart Hutchins, 93, of Mt. Gilead Church Road, Connelly Springs, passed away on April 3, 2026 at Autumn Care of Drexel.

Frances was born on May 15, 1932, in Cleveland County, to the late Curtis Smart and Susie Ivey Smart. She was retired from Drexel Heritage and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy A. Hutchins.

Survivors include a son, TA Hutchins and wife, Marie of Connelly Springs; two daughters, Charlotte Walker and Christine Walters and husband, Glenn all of Connelly Springs; a sister, Gail Cook of Kings Mountain; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
