Frank Daniel Hudson, 85 of 108 Poole Road, Casar passed away Friday, April
8, 2016 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care.

Born August 6, 1930 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Johnny
Lemmie Hudson and Barbara Jane Turner Hudson. He was retired from Henredon.
Frank was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where he was a deacon and
choir leader.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Carolina Rehab and Burke
Hospice for all the care they have given over the past year and a half.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Watts
Hudson; brother, Carl Hudson and three sisters, Leunia Johnson, Lula Mae
Downs and Mary Sue Brady.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Alley and husband, Russell of Casar
and Teresa Diane Wright and husband, Allen of Morganton; a son, Kenneth
Hudson of Casar; two sisters, Dorothy Piercy of Morganton and Muril Hull of
Valdese; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at Shady Grove Baptist
Church

A funeral service will be 3:00 PM on Sunday at Shady Grove Baptist Church
with Revs. Ted Carswell, Curtis Carroll and Billy Mace officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
