Frank "Mac" or "Spud" Stephen McGinnis, 68, of Roseland Drive, Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at The Greens of Lincolnton.

Born on the US Naval Base Guam, on October 27, 1954, he was a son of the late Frank McGinnis and Waltena Guadagni McGinnis. We was retired from maintenance and could fix anything.

In addition to his parents he is preceded death by his grandparents, James "Jim" and Rose Guadagni and Delmas and Kathleen McGinnis and a brother-in-law, David King.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years Carolyn Mellon McGinnis; three children, Jed Randall and wife Joyce of Cherryville, Jeff Randall and wife Angela of Lincolnton, and Larry Fredell of Lincolnton; three sisters, Jeannette Gibson and husband Alan of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Betty Brittain and husband Randy of Cherryville; and Connie Stoddard and husband Roger of Boiling Springs, SC; three grandchildren, Christy Flynn, Kevin Randall, and Tabatha Leir; six great grandchildren; Caroline Flynn, Hailey Flynn, Joshua Flynn, Zack Randall; Emily Randall; Grayson Leir and by a good friend Ron Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm , at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Price officiating.
