Franklin Leon McDaniel, age 81 passed away on December 16, 2016 and Frances Pauline Smith McDaniel, age 72 passed away on December 14, 2016 at their home. Franklin was born in Rutherford Co. NC and Frances was born in Cleveland Co. NC. Mr. and Mrs. McDaniel were married for 51 years. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Adam McDaniel and Ollie Roberts McDaniel. Franklin was also preceded in death by brother, Roger McDaniel and sisters, Pat Mitchell and Louise Smith. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Taylor Smith and Eunice E. Carpenter Smith. Frances was also preceded in death by her sister, Jane Lovelace. Mr. and Mrs. McDaniel were both retired from the textile industry and members of Dallas Church of God.
