From His Wheelchair, Melvin's Garden Feeds The Needy
For seven years, Melvin Tate has had a half acre garden. He plants everything. With the help of Reva Lawson and Conell Smiley, his garden holds special vegetable treats for not only himself, but older people who are in need. Melvin has  been confined to a wheelchair for 28 years, but that doesn’t stop him from doing whatever he sets his mind to do. He enjoys his garden and the benefit it gives to others. - M.A. Andrews
