Gary Curtis Bolin, 76, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 01, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born in Cleveland County, NC, the only son of the late Walter Jackson and Velma Oveda Caveny Bolin and was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ethel Mae Norman and Marie Page.

Gary was a member of Dixon Presbyterian Church and retired from W & B Trucking.

He served his country faithfully in the Vietnam Conflict in the US Marine Corps.

Gary was an avid music lover and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was a member of the band, Truly Redeemed, where he spread the gospel through music. Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.

Daughter: Suzanne Bolin Cunningham and husband Joe, Belmont, NC

Sisters: Maybelle Strange and husband Bobby and Nancy Louise Holmes, both of Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Walt Grayson, Katie Cunningham, and Allie Martin and husband Chase

Great Grandchild: Collins Rae Martin

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Randy Patterson officiating

VISITATION: The family will speak with attendees immediately following the interment at the cemetery

INTERMENT: Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery
