Gary Dean Pritchard, 62, of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home.

Born in Cleveland County, on October 22, 1958, he was a son of the late Carroll Russell Pritchard and Carolyn Joyce Jones Pritchard. Gary was a mechanic and fabricator by trade and attended Glory Land Baptist Church, Smyrna, SC. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could. He loved to top water bass fish and enjoyed racing.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Violet Shira Pritchard; son Fred Pritchard and wife Kristen of Shelby; brother, Chuck Pritchard and wife Toni of Leesville, LA and granddaughter, Halle Jones.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Glory Land Baptist Church 2785 Legion Road Smyrna, SC 29743 with the Pastor Jeff Gilfillan officiating.

The service of committal will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.

The family will greet friends following each service.
