Gayle Wortman Williams, a loving wife, faithful mother and wonderful grandmother, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.

Born in Cleveland County, on April 28, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Lawton David Wortman and Lula Mae Carpenter Wortman. She was a homemaker and member of Casar United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Floyd Colus Williams, Sr.; three sons, Floyd Williams, Jr of Lawndale, Jeff Williams and wife, Vanessa of Hildebrand, and Matthew Williams and wife, Andriean of Lawndale; sister, Barbara Williams and husband David of Lawndale; and eight grandchildren, Abby Putnam, Kim Williams, Ivi Williams, Taylor Williams, Carolyn Williams, Lawton Williams, Laney Williams, and Luke Williams.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Casar United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Casar United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Lovelace officiating.

The burial will follow the service at the Williams Family Pond.
