George Daniel Pearson, 78, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Atrium Health Pineville. Born in Cleveland County on August 17, 1947, he was preceded in death by his parents, Jarvis Pearson and Verdie Blanton Pearson; his wife, Precilla "Jackie" McCluney Pearson; his brothers, Ervin Pearson, Obie Pearson, and Gerold Pearson; and his sisters, Doris Pearson Bright, Thelma Pearson Barnette, and Betty Jean Cochran.

Dan was a dedicated entrepreneur in the manufacturing industry and the proud owner and operator of Boiling Springs Manufacturing and Western Dynasty. Through his hard work and commitment to quality, he created products that brought value and enjoyment to many.

He was a faithful and active member of Christ the King Church in Shelby. He took great pride in caring for his yard, spending countless peaceful hours on his mower. A devoted sports fan, he especially loved football and found joy in watching NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his son, Charles Daniel "Chuck" Pearson; his daughter, Susan Bennett (Keith); his grandson, Chase Pearson; his brother, Bill Pearson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Christ the King Church in Shelby. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
