George Pinkney Wilson, Jr., age 85, passed away Saturday April 9, 2022 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC.

Born on August 17, 1936, he was the son of the late George Pinkney Wilson Sr. and Virginia Blanton Wilson.

George is survived by his daughter, Gina Greene (David), Roger Wilson (Donna Evans), Chad Wilson (Tristian), also by his siblings, Janet Enloe, Betty Jean Overcash, Katie Bell, and Harold Wilson. and six grandchildren; Jacob and Matthew McFarland, Dawson Wilson, Zoie Fisher, Payton Wilson and Madison Bryant.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday April 14 , 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Pastor Toby Bird officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM in the Church sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's hospital.
