George Robert Aranda , 86, of Forest City passed away on January 14, 2018 at Transylvania Medical Center. He was born on November 8, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to John and Trances Aranda. He had two sisters, Jennie and Sarah. George was preceded in death by his wife Delores "Dodie" Albina Tafoya.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at The Fellowship Holiness Church, 301 Deviney Street Spindale, NC 28160.
