George Russell Stallings, age 71, died Tuesday, September 11 2018 at Hospice Wendover. Born on August 26, 1947 he was the son of the late Edward V. and Mary Jenelle Wright Stallings. Russell served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was the owner of Prime Micro in Atlanta, Georgia. Russell was a member of the VFW. He loved playing golf and watching sports.

Russell is survived by his wife Nancy Hewitt Stallings; a daughter, Francis Marie Stallings of Atlanta, Ga; two sons, Morgan Stallings of Kings Mountain, and Curtis Stallings and wife Mairi of Atlanta, Ga.; two step sons, Jason Bailey and wife Cindy of Shelby and Trevor Walker and wife Traci of Fallston; a brother, Harold Bell and wife Linda of Pinehurst; a sister, Margaret Arnold and husband Ed of Hendersonville; Pride and Joy, his canine companion, "JJ"; and a number of loving cousins, and friends.
