Georgia L. Willis Robbins, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.

Georgia was born Tuesday, February 23, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Vonzie Arvie Willis and Minervia Lucinda Turner Willis. She worked for Fast Food Industries for many years and Arby's for eighteen years before retirement. Georgia enjoyed fishing and especially loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Pauline Willis Moore, Irene Willis Lovelace and Hubert Arvie Willis; grandson, Phillip Flowers and a great-grandson, Wyatt Adams.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Georgette Orndorff (Alan) of Missouri, Loretta Starling (Raymond) of Alabama, Harmon Flowers (Vickie) of Missouri, Shawnia Raub (Todd) of Forest City and Shelley Raub Hampton (Telly) of Forest City; two sisters, Odessa Willis Wells of Henrietta, Katie Willis Browder of Florida; fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend James Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Run Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
