Mrs. Geraldine Ann Arndt age 71 passed away Sunday February 5, 2017 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Born in Bronx, NY she is a daughter of the late Gerry and Rose Zambrano Chierchio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Katherine Paduano and a grandchild Zachary Paduano, and son in law Matt Paduano. A graduate of Montclair State University, Mrs. Arndt taught mathematics at Raritan High School in Hazlet, NJ for some 39 years having served a number of years on the student advisory council and directed numerous school plays.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Peter Arndt, one son John Arndt, one sister Sue Ann Corso, and a number of other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 3 PM Saturday February 11, 2017 at Spindale United Methodist Church with Rev. Ross O'Neal officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
