Geraldine "Judy" Hunt Cooke, 83, of 368 Leman Gap Road, Casar, passed away
Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born September 10, 1934 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Forrest Hunt and Bruna Brackett Hunt. She was a homemaker and was a member
of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery
Neal Cooke and Eric Andrew Cooke and one brother, Laython Brackett.

Survivors include her husband of sixty years, William Ralph Cooke; son,
Timothy Mark Cooke of Charlotte; two brothers, Allan William Hunt of Union,
SC and Ronald Forrest Hunt of Asheville; sister, Wanda Muniz of Lawndale.

The visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Sunday at 3:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church
with Rev. Jim Kilby officiating.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
