Gersham William "Joe" Bell, 95, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 21, 2023 at home.

He was born in Cleveland, NC, son of the late William Lawrence and Pearl Ware Bell and was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Beam Bell. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Andy and Randy Bell, his brothers, Richard and Bobby Bell, and his sister, Geneva Dedmon. Joe was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and spent his life fulfilling his passion as a farmer. He enjoyed raising fox dogs and fox hunting. Joe was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who took pride in his family. His determination, work ethic, guidance, and love will never be forgotten by all those who knew Joe.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: The family will speak with attendees immediately following the service at the graveside

INTERMENT: Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
