Gladys Ann Dryer Sexton, age 81, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Meadowwood Nursing Center in Gastonia. Born in Columbus County NC on May 5, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Albert Henry and Anne Jane Bradley Dryer. Ann was a member of Eastside Baptist Church She served in the U. S. Army in the information services department. Ann worked in the Quality Control Department for various textile mills. She enjoyed making crafts, reading, and going to the Beach. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy L. Boheler and Larry Sexton.

Ann is survived by two daughters, Donna S. Boheler and husband Gary of Clover SC. and Deborah J. Wilson and her husband Dennis Howson of Charlotte NC.; two brothers, Frank Dryer (deceased) and wife Betty of Georgia and Bill Dryer and wife Joanie of Marble Falls TX.; a sister, Lonita B. Kinney of Kings Mountain NC.; three grandsons, Andy Lee Boheler, Bradley Martin Wilson, and Joseph Scott Wilson, 1 great granddaughter Amelia; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Thursday September 24, 2015 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Dale Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. at the funeral home
