Gladys Lucille Sain Hull, 86 of 819 Tallent Road, Vale passed away, Friday,
December 1, 2017 at home.

Born January 29, 1931 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late
Frank McCoy Sain and Fannie Cleo Pruette Sain. Mrs. Hull was retired from
Hickory Furniture and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey
Hull and brothers, Paul, Melvin, Harold, Jimmie and Horace Sain and infant
brother Buddy.

Survivors include three sons, Randy Hull and wife, Leann and Johnny Hull all
of Vale and Mark Hull and wife, Kelly of Charlotte; two daughters, Karen
Brackett and husband, Gary of Lawndale and Kathy Caudle and husband, Marty
of Vale; six brothers, Ralph Sain of Cherryville, Bob Sain of Hickory, Hugh
Sain of Lawndale, Colon Sain, Kenneth Sain and Warren Sain all of Vale; two
sisters, Dorothy Leatherman of Taylorsville and Joann Wise of Vale; ten
grandchildren, Jennifer Buelin, Amanda McGee, Paul Buelin, Matt Hull, Sarah
Edwards, Henry Hull, Maria Navey, Sabrina Hull, Timothy Hull and Kevin
Brackett and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home, Fallston.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with
Rev. Jeremy Mahaffey and Rev. Don Willis officiating. The body will lie in
state at the church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
