Glenda Kirkendall Kale, 84, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at TerraBella of Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on March 15, 1940 she was the daughter of the late John Patterson Kirkendall and Hazel Borders Kirkendall. In addition to her parents, Glenda is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Kimberly Harris Kale.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Richard Thomas Kale, their three sons, Richard Christian Kale (Jozel) of Shelby, Michael Tod Kale (Dianna) of Hickory, NC, David Anthony Kale of Shelby, as well as her two sisters, Silvia Bradley and Pamela Waldrop (Ken). Also left to cherish her memory are six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

To honor the life of Glenda, the family will hold services privately. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby, NC.
