Mrs. Glenda Ross Lomick, 58, of 219 Morrison St. Shelby, NC departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby. She was born on October 7, 1960 in Shelby, NC to the late Forrest and Frances Hopper Ross.

Glenda was a member of Living Waters Christian Ministry. She enjoyed cooking, working on puzzles and reading her bible. She also enjoyed loving on her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard V. Ross; three daughters, Sierra, Kierra and Tierra Ross and two sisters, Mildred Ross Allen and Edna L. Ross.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, John J. Lomick; two sons, Jackie Ross and Forest Ross both of Shelby, NC; five daughters, Donisha Ross of Charlotte, NC, La'frea Ross, Chelsey Parker, Jessica Ross and Danadia Ross all of Shelby; three step-children, Dearra Lomick of Kings Mountain, NC, Taquina Darby of Gastonia, NC and Tyrik Lomick of Kings Mountain; twenty-five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Andre T. Ross (Cheryl) of Shelby; one sister, Gwendolyn Ross Moss of Shelby; one great aunt, Thelma Hopper Chambers of Shelby; lifelong friend, Melody Guest Russell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
