This good, caring, and unselfish man will be greatly missed by his family. They are comforted by the knowledge he is with his Lord and Savior according to His purpose.

He is survived by their children of whom he was so proud: David and Alison Moore, Thomas Moore, and Katie Moore; his grandchildren, Walton Moore and Lillian Moore; his beloved sister, Clara Hare and sister-in-law Patsy Moore. He is also survived by Barbara's sisters Ann Moody and Kathy (Larry) Blomquist.
He is predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Marie Moore; siblings Wallace (Mike) Moore, Marjorie and Jack Sherrill, Harold Moore, Lloyd (Buddy) Moore Jr., and Martin and Cathy Moore.

Glenn grew up in a Christian home in Chester County in SC, the youngest of seven children, graduating from Chester High School where he continued to maintain friendships with his classmates. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Phiffer University.

He proudly served in the US Army in locations including South Korea, being honorably discharged after three years of service with the rank of E5.
Glenn loved his church, Shelby Presbyterian, giving of his time as adult Sunday school teacher and serving as elder.

He retired from Reliance Electric after 31 years in manufacturing and management roles in Kings Mountain, NC; Mankato, MN; and Cleveland, OH. He was respected by his colleagues. He will be remembered as a mentor, a good leader, and a friend.

He and Barbara enjoyed their retirement years together taking trips and also just staying at home hosting family dinners, working in the yard, meeting the challenge of keeping the squirrels out of the multiple bird feeders, woodworking, and growing tomatoes. He loved the outdoors and nature.
