SHELBY- Gloria Jane Williams Jones, 71, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Ruth Williams. She will be loved and missed always.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jones; daughter, Pam Smith; brother Kenneth Williams; and sister Sheila Berry.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Shawn Jones of Shelby; daughters, Tonya Emory and Dreama Mullinax and husband Terry, all of Shelby; sister Helen Schronce of Cherryville; and brother Mason Williams and wife Jean of Shelby; grandchildren, Bronson, Cande, Jovi, Dyamond, Brooke, Terry Jr., and Seth; great-grandchildren, Arissa, Alan, Aiden, Adam, Natalie, Abel, and Sawyer. The family would like to thank all the staff at Hospice at Wendover, for all their love and care they extended during her stay.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Billy Boone will be officiating.

BURIAL: Internment will be at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
