Gloria Lynn Cassady, 68 of Shelby passed away Friday January 27, 2017 at CMC
- Charlotte.

Born August 2, 1948 in Cleveland County to the late John Charles Cassady and
Marilyn Ruth Hicks Whisnant. She was retired from Ester Mills and Kemet.

She is survived by three sons, Scott Hartman and partner Joe Strazzanti of
Charlotte, Tony Hartman and wife Michelle of Shelby and Shane Hartman and
wife Ariel Dawn of Durham; brother, Bryan Whisnant of Atlanta, GA; sister,
Robin Whisnant of Shelby; three grandchildren, Ashley Hartman, TJ Hartman
and Kyle Hartman; aunt, Jane Greenwood of Fallston.

The visitation will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Monday at Stamey - Tysinger
Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Monday at Stamey - Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Brower officiating.

Burial will be private.
