Gordon Blake Renkenberger

Gordon Blake Renkenberger, 29, passed away on Saturday, September 07, 2024.

He is predeceased by his grandfather, Terry Gordon; grandparents, Jack and Naomi Renkenberger.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Aletha Smith (Jim); father, Jerry Renkenberger (Tennille); sister, Bethany Renkenberger; step-brothers, Cameron Therrien and Shannon Smith; step-sisters, Daylah Therrien, April Glenn and Jessica Centers; grandparent, Faye Gordon; numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Blake served in the United States Army Reserve from 2014 to 2017. He received 2 Army Achievement Medals. He strived to be the best soldier each day that he possibly could.

At the age of 16, Blake started working at Autobell Car Wash. He loved collecting the tip money and it became a game to him each and every day. Eventually he worked his way up to Lead Technician and traveled with the company for over 10 years where he gained very close friends and co-workers.

As a young child and teenager, Blake attended Pineville Church of the Nazarene and looked forward to spending part of his July at Hendersonville Nazarene Campground with great childhood friends.

Throughout his short life he had great interests and hobbies. He enjoyed snowboarding with his Go-Pro. Also, lake and deep sea fishing along with gaming.

Blake had many loyal friends and co-workers and they have described Blake as special, hard-working, loyal, funny and when he walked into a room he put a smile on everyone's face. He will be missed by all.
