Grace Evelyn Barnett Lucas, 93, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at her home in Blacksburg, SC.

Born in Madison County, NC on February 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Lowell P. Barnett and Grace McSwain Barnette. In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. David E. Lucas and many loving family members. Grace will be remembered for her love for God, family, and her church.

Grace is survived by her daughters, Grace Lucas Dawson, husband Bobby, Wanda Lucas Eaker husband Scott, and son David L. Lucas, wife Pam, as well as 6 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Broad River Baptist Church of Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Danny Meetze officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2pm - 3pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
