Haley Wilson of Shelby caught this record-setting flathead catfish while fishing on Lake Marion in South Carolina on May 6, 2016. The whopper weighed in at 54 lbs. 2 oz. Haley registered her catch in the Santee Cooper Trophy Five Award Program and will receive a parchment signed by the Honorable Nikki R. Haley, Governor of South Carolina. The Santee Cooper Country Trophy Five is a lifetime program designed to give recognition to sportsmen who make a trophy catch of a game fish from the Santee Cooper Lakes.
