Harold "Dinky" Moore, age 81, of Mooresboro, NC, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018.
Dinky was born December 1, 1937 in Rutherford County, NC and was the son of the late David Erwin Moore and Cora Hensley Moore. He worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant for most of his life and was of the Baptist Faith. Dinky was an outdoorsman who loved farming, gardening and any kind of yardwork. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rhonda D. Moore; one son, Scott Campfield and wife, Kelly of Ellenboro; two daughters, Christy Bailey and husband, Daniel of Mooresboro and Debbie Ann Bowen of Mooresboro; three brothers, Ronald Gene "Pud" Moore and wife, Iris of Mooresboro, Don Moore and wife, Lynn of Forest City and Johnny "Chick" Moore and wife, Martha of Rutherford County; two sisters, Carolyn Moore Walters of Forest City and Teresa Moore Lovelace and husband, Bobby of Mooresboro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing and visitation will be conducted from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
