Mr. Harold L. Yount, 75, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his residence.

Harold was born in Lincoln County, NC on December 12, 1946 a son of the late Jack L. Yount and Roberta Howell Yount. He retired from Ethan Allen in Maiden. Harold was a member of First Baptist Church in Cherryville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Yount and a brother, Terry Yount.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Anita Morrow Yount of the home; a daughter, Tammy Lowman and husband Scott of Seneca, SC; a son Thomas Deviney, Jr. and wife Mary Sue of Cherryville; a brother, John Yount of Terrell; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville with Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.
