Harold Lutz Brown, 86 of 1344 Hwy 274, Cherryville passed away Monday, May
15, 2017 at his residence.

Born October 21, 1930 in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Walter Guy
Brown and Lois Inez Lutz Brown. Harold was retired after 33 years of
service from Carolina Freight as a truck driver. He was a member of Kadesh
United Methodist Church and Cherryville American Legion Post 100. Harold
served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Dwight
Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Cooper Brown; daughter, Dwightette Brown
of Lincoln County and a brother, Walter Gerald Brown of Cherryville and
numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Thursday at Kadesh United Methodist
Church

A funeral service will be 4:00 PM, Thursday at Kadesh United Methodist
Church with Rev. Jerry Lail and Chaplain Justin Williamson officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
